Vana understands that security and privacy are important issues for users of mobile applications. The following Privacy Policy sets forth Vana's privacy practices regarding its collection, use and sharing of the information that Vana collect via your use of Vana’s site or mobile application. When you use Vana, it means you trust us with your information.
Before you use the App. and/or submit any information on or through the App, please carefully review this Policy along with our Terms of Use and any other documents referred to within this Policy to understand how we will collect and utilize your information and your choices about this information. Vana may contain links to other sites and/or mobile applications which are owned and operated by third parties. Clicking on them may lead to collecting information. Vana is not responsible If you choose to click on a link to one of these third-party sites or apps, you should review the privacy policy posted on the other site or app to understand how they collect and use your information


3.1. Vana will inform you when you are approaching your destination/transfer station. To do this, the app needs to access your device’s location data and this requires your consent. You can do this by granting permission to the app on your device to access the geolocation of your device. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the future by revoking the permission for the app to access the location data of your device in your device settings.

3.2. The App requires an Internet connection in order to exchange data with the server system. The receipt of background notifications must be activated to keep information about the bookings up-to-date. If you grant the appropriate access authorization, your location data will be processed in the background (optional) in order to provide you with essential travel information (arrival times, transfer options, etc.) on your mobile device during the trip

If you do not want us to collect your information, you need to delete your account and/or uninstall the App and we will stop doing so. If you delete your account or refuse to provide us with information, you may not be able to take advantage of many of Vana services.


4.1. We may use your information to perform our obligations under any contract with you (for example, to comply with the terms of use). Some other services are as follows:

4.1.1. To measure our performance and for auditing and troubleshooting purposes;

4.1.2. To keep our website and Application efficient, safe and secure;

4.1.3. To provide you with all the features and functions of App;

4.1.4. For internal research, statistical and user behavior analytics;

4.1.5. To provide a smooth, efficient, and personalized experience while using our App;

4.1.6. To enable your access to your related search history;

4.1.7. To notify you about a material change to this privacy policy or the Terms of Use, if required by law and also service updates;

4.1.8. Improving user experience through Vana's function in different operating systems in different devices.

4.1.10. To comply with a judicial proceeding or court order; or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved, to protect and defend the rights or property of Vana or the Users of the App;

We may also share such data with any third parties, including advertisers, promotional partners, sponsors, event promoters, and/or others.

5. Location Data

"We use user location information in the background to display their location to drivers on our platform. This information is only used for displaying location to our drivers and will not be shared with any third-party under any circumstances.

The user location information is collected by our app in the background, but we ensure that this information is not shared with any third-party without the user's consent. We also use secure methods to protect user's personal information.

6.2. We may share your information with our affiliates or partners who we have a business relationship with, to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with this Policy.


7.1. We have taken steps to protect information we collect about you. Some of them are as follows:

7.1.1. We use encryption such as SSL to protect your data while in transit;

7.1.2. For signing in/up to your account, we send an OTP (one-time password) to cell phone number or Email address you provided us with,

If you don't do it, you are responsible for any use or mis-use of your account and Vana has no responsibility.

8.3. In case you request deleting or erasing your data. Vana will process your request and will erase it how regulations allow and will inform you properly.

Declaring your disagreement about collecting, saving, processing and distributing personal information wherever applicable law requires your permission; in this case, Vana will consider your request in ways that law permits and inform you in proper ways. As mentioned before, not having access to some information, Vana may terminate rendering services wholly or partially.
